Trabahustle Moves Online Video Contest


Novartis is having an online video/dance contest called Trabahustle Moves! Join this contest and get a chance to win a brand new iPad2! First to join this and qualifies gets to win 3,000 pesos cash! This contest is similar to a previous contest sponsored by Novartis called Dancexercise (2010).

This contest is open to all FIlipinos aged 18 years old and above.

Contest Mechanics:


Who can join:

• Trabahustle Moves is open to all residents of the Philippines, at least 18 years old.
• Employees of Novartis Healthcare Philippines, its media agencies and relatives are disqualified to join from the contest.

How to join:

• Record a mini-workout video at home, school or work.
• Classmates, colleagues and family members, including children, may be part of the video.
• Video length must within 30 seconds to 3 minutes.
• Send your video entry to trabahustlemoves2012@gmail.com along with the name of your video entry as well as your full name, address, contact number and email address.
• For bigger files, you may use www.yousendit.com.
• You may send as many entries as you can.

Criteria for Judging:

• Videos will be judged based on the following criteria.
   ◊ Easy to follow steps (40%)
   ◊ Over-all execution (40%)
   ◊ Quality of the video output (20%)


Promo duration:

• Deadline of submission of entries is until 11:59PM of November 9, 2012.
• Winners shall be posted on Trabahustle Moves Facebook Page on or before November 23, 2012.

Personal Notes:

- Try to make a dance move that is fun to do and simple at the same time. Moves should be simple enough to be followed by exercisers of all ages! Simplicity is part of the contest criteria.
- You may use any background song for your exercise video. Best practice would be to ask the owners of a particular song if you have concerns over copyright issues. Otherwise, you may put attributions or credits on your video. - you may use any style of video interpretation. You could either make one whole video clip, or you may arrange segments into one video.

Colgate Fresh Confidence Your Coolest Ice Breaker Contest


For those who are cool enough then join this dance challenge: Colgate Fresh Confidence Your Coolest Ice Breaker Contest. If you manage to prove you're the coolest you and your partner may win  a Samsung Galaxy Tab each.


This contest is open to  fans of Colgate Fresh confidence.

All you have to do is create a video entry featuring you and a partner to execute the Colgate Icebreaker Handshake just like in the tutorial video. Your video entry should not more than 1 minute.


Guidelines for the Ice Breaker Handshake video entries are as follows:

- Each video must make use of all the steps of the Ice Breaker Handshake as taught in the tutorial video.

- Each video must follow the prescribed entrance and exit of the two Ice Breaker performers as taught in the tutorial video.

- Each video must follow the prescribed framing of the Ice Breaker Handshake performers as well as the stationary camera position as indicated in the tutorial video.

- Only two people (including the Participant) should perform the Ice Breaker Handshake in the video.

- Each video must not exceed 1 minute in length. It should be in mpeg, mov, mp4, avi, or .3gp format and must not exceed 10 MB in size.

- Participants can send in as many creative Icebreaker Handshake videos as they wish within the Submission Periods. Sending of the same video more than once is not allowed. The duplicate video will not be considered as a valid entry.

Contest Criteria:

 SELECTION OF MONTHLY WINNERS:

There will be three (3) winners per month - 2 video entries and 1 voter.

Video entries will be judged by representatives from Colgate-Palmolive and Y&R based on the following criteria:

Level of Similarity to Ice Breaker Handshake – 40%
Creativity – 40%
Colgate Fresh Confidence Fan Page Fan Votes – 20%

One (1) lucky voter per month will be selected at random. To be eligible, voter must have voted for any of the valid entries for the month.

The two (2) winning Ice Breaker Handshake videos each month will move on to the grand finals.


SELECTION OF GRAND CHAMPION:

There will be a total of six (6) videos that will move on to the grand finals (the 2 winning videos per month for 3 months)

The six (6) video entries will be tagged in the “Your Coolest Ice Breaker” Application as finalists wherein fans will get the chance to vote for the best Ice Breaker Handshake.

The video with the most number of votes will be declared as the Grand Champion. There will be five (5) runners-up.

One (1) random voter for each of the six (6) finalists will be selected at random. To be eligible, voter must have voted for any of the six (6) finalists.



Prizes at stake:

MONTHLY PRIZES:

Senders of valid video entries will automatically receive P300 worth of gift packs from Colgate-Palmolive.(Note: GC (less than 500) should be valid for a year)

The two (2) winning videos per month will each receive P5,000 (P2,500 per handshake performer in the video) worth of Shopping Gift Certificates. (Note: GC should be valid until fully consumed)

The one (1) lucky voter selected at random will receive P1,000 worth of Shopping Gift Certificates. (Note: GC should be valid until fully consumed)

GRAND FINALS PRIZES:

The Grand Champion Video winner will receive two (2) Samsung Galaxy Tabs 10.1 (1 per person performing the Ice Breaker)

The five (5) Video Runners-up will each receive two (2) Samsung 2View Cameras – ST700 (1 per person performing the Ice Breaker)

The one (1) lucky voter for each of the six (6) video finalists selected at random will receive P1,500 worth of Shopping Gift Certificates.

Pocari Sweat Dance Contest


Join the Pocari Sweat Dance Contest and your group can get a chance to win as much as 100,000 pesos cash! Runner-ups will also receive cash prizes.


This contest is open to Filipino male/female/mixed groups aged 16 to 25 years residing in NCR or CALABARZON area only.

To join:

Interested groups should be composed of a minimum of five (5) members up to a maximum of seven (7) members (all male/female or mixed, Filipino, 16 to 25 years of age, residing in NCR and CALABARZON Area) are qualified to join.

To participate in the Pocari Sweat Dance Contest, interested and qualified groups must comply with the following:

A. Accessing the Fan Page and Becoming a Fan:

A representative of the group should have a valid an existing account in Facebook, where they need to access the Pocari Sweat Fan Page (only one representative per group should register) via:

i. Typing in: www.facebook.com/pocarisweatphilippines on the URL or Pocari Sweat Dance Contest on the search bar, to visit the fan page.
ii. Once there, users should click the "LIKE" button to access the Pocari Sweat Dance Contest Facebook Page

iii. Make sure to read the full mechanics and register to join

iv. A representative of the group may only register a group once and submit the following via the Pocari Sweat Dance Contest Application Registration Page:
- Group Name
- Name of Group Representative(*the first person in the list of group members)
- Full name of group members
- Address of all group members
- Birthdates of all group members
- Contact number of all group members
- Valid e-mail address of all group members

B. Create a Video

Download the 1-minute Pocari Sweat jingle from the Pocari Sweat Facebook Fan Page.
Create your own choreography and show off your best dance moves. At the end of the dance, the video should show your group drinking Pocari Sweat for at least 10 seconds.

Upload the video

i. Participants should register on the Facebook Fan Page Application and click the Upload Video Tab. A representative from Otsuka Pharmaceuticals will screen the video first to prevent offensive and/or sexual content before uploading the video on the Facebook Dance Contest App. The following information must be submitted on the Facebook Dance Contest app registration page:

- Name of group
- Name of representative of group
- Address
- Representative's contact number(s) and email address
- The group's name should also be labeled, as a caption on the video page.

ii. Submission of videos will be from Friday 12:00PM to Friday 11:59AM of the following week (see attached table).

iii. Video file must be in .wav, .mov, .flv, .avi or .mp4 format.

iv. Share your post (video in the fan page) to your profile page by tagging your name. (e.g. @name) in the field before clicking "Share" so the entry is submitted. Entries not successfully posted to the fan page and shared with your name tagged are not qualified. Double check the fanpage and your profile page to make sure your entry has been posted in both pages. Likers will be directed to the voting section of the app to "like" for their chosen entry in order to prevent duplication of likes. Only the likes posted in each entry in the app shall be considered as valid votes.

v. Ask your friends to "like/vote" your video. However, that will not be the sole determinant of the contest. (See Criteria for Judging). Voting/"Liking" will be for a period of 1 week (Friday 12PM to Friday 11:59AM of the following week)(please refer to attached table). A screenshot will be captured for each video at 11:59AM to capture the number of "likes/votes" on the voting section of the app.

Criteria for judging:

Choreography - Refers to the Creativity, Incorporation of Pocari Sweat Drinking portion (30%)
Over-All Impact - Refers to the Participant's Costume, Showmanship, Confidence, Freshness (20%)
Number of Facebook Likes/Votes - Refers to the total number of Facebook Fan Likes/Votes (30%)
Expression - Refers to Group interaction, Show of natural fun (20%)

TOTAL 100%


Contest prize:

Grand Prize Winner P100,000 cash
1st Runner-up Winner P50,000 cash
2nd Runner-up Winner P30,000 cash

One (1) Weekly Winner x 12 weeks- Pocari Sweat Items worth Php1,500.00 + P10,000 cash (3 cases of Pocari Sweat 350mL; 72 bottles x P22 = Php1,584.00)

* Every Friday, starting from August 12 to December 02, 2011, the group participant with the highest score, based on the criteria will be chosen as the Weekly Winner, and will instantly win a Pocari Sweat Items worth Php1,500 + P10,000 cash.


Notes:
- if you can convert your video to .FLV format, uploading on Facebook or Youtube will be faster as compared to other video formats, based on my experience.
- last day to submit your entry is on December 2, 2011 but submit earlier so that you can get more votes. More votes = better chances of winning (30% of criteria).

Funk For Life Philippines


Calling all funky, groovy people in the house! Join the Funk For Life Philippines dance competition on January 8, 2011 at the Teatrino Promenade at Greenhills, Metro Manila and get a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Singapore or a 5000 pesos cash prize (depending on the dance category).



This contest is open to all interested dance applicants who can participate on the day of the event.

There are three categories for this dance contest.

a) 2 on 2 locking

b) 2 on 2 popping

c) 1 on 1 bboying

The winners of the 2 on 2 Popping and Locking categories will be sent to an all-expense paid trip to Singapore to represent the Philippines in The Juste Debout Pre-Selection on January 22, 2011. The winner of the 1 on 1 Bboying category will receive Php 5,000.00 in cash.

WHD Dancexercise Video Contest


Dance your way to victory as Novartis Philippines is currently holding a video dance contest dubbed as Dancexercise Your Way to Health. This contest is held in conjunction with the World Hypertension Day celebration.


This contest is open to all Filipinos residing in the Philippines aged 18 years and above. Employees of Novartis, its PR and advertising agencies, including their family members are not allowed to join this contest.

How to enter

1. To enter the contest, you or a group of up to six (6) members must choreograph and videotape yourself doing a dancexercise routine to any suitable dance music. The dancexercise routine should be a maximum of three (3) minutes long and should follow the theme: “Healthy Weight, Healthy Blood Pressure.” Appropriate sports or gym attire should be worn during the dancexercise routine.

2. Video entries should be clear and in MPEG format. Entries longer than 3 minutes will not be accepted.

3. Submit your entry either by emailing the video file (MPEG format) to dancexercise.whd@gmail.com via ‘yousendit’ (log on to www.yousendit.com) or courier the video CD/DVD to Novartis Healthcare Philippines. Include with your entry the following information: your email address, along with the name, address, age (birthdate) of all contestants/group members. Also, indicate the primary contact person or leader of your group.

4. Video entries submitted shall automatically become the property of Novartis Healthcare Philippines. Contestants waive all copyright claims to video entries submitted and shall be responsible for obtaining the permission/clearances from their co-participants/co-contestants. Video CD/DVDs submitted will not be returned to the senders/ contestants. Novartis Healthcare Philippines shall not be held responsible for any lost video entries. Contestants give Novartis and its media partners permission and the right for the unlimited use of the video and images in any form of media.

Judging

A board of judges composed of medical and dance exercise experts will select the top three (3) entries in each category based on the criteria and contest rules. The judges’ decisions are final.
Criteria for Judging

Fun & Easy 25%
- Dance steps should be fun to do, easy to follow, and can be done at home as a regular exercise.
Body Movements 25%
- Movements should engage/involve the whole body – both upper and lower limbs and joints.
Creativity 20%
- Dance routine should be interesting, creative, and with varied steps.
Timing and coordination 20%
- Execution of dance routine should be precise and in unison
Lively & Energetic 10%
- Performance should be lively and energetic. Music should be upbeat.
Prizes

Cash Prizes will be awarded per category:

First Prize (P50,000)
Second Prize (P30,000)
Third Prize (P15,000)

There will be three (3) categories: Seniors (60 years old and above); Midlifers (35 to 59 years old); Young adults (18 to 34 years old). All winners will be contacted via email and featured in a TV program. Cash prizes shall be given at the awarding ceremony. (Winners will be responsible for their own travel expenses). The cash prizes are tax-free.

Miscellaneous

Contestants shall be allowed to submit only one entry. Each entry must adhere to contest rules. Entrants must supply full details as required above, and comply with all rules to be eligible for prize(s). Novartis Philippines shall not be held responsible for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.

Participation in the contest is entirely at the dancer’s/contestant’s own risk. Performance of dangerous choreography is not permitted or endorsed by the contest committee. The use of exercise/sports gear or props, weapons, any form of liquid (e.g. blood, oil, water, etc.), fire, any pyrotechnic materials are not allowed in the performance of the routine. Obscene choreography and indecent movements are strictly prohibited.
