WOW Twist by Kotex
Join the WOW Twist by Kotex game on Facebook and get a chance to win an iPod Nano as grand prize! Prizes also await the 2nd and 3rd placers. To win, you have to get the highest score until the cut-off deadline. You can play as an individual or as a group of 4.

How To Enter
There are 2 ways to enter WOW Twist contest:
1. As an Individual Player
To participate:
1. Click on "Play Now" on homepage or navigation bar
2. Successfully complete all 3 stages of game
3. Submit your particulars to register and save your score if you have not registered before
Participant has to register and save score in order to submit score to leader board and be eligible for contest. After registration, participant can play the game as many times as preferred, and the highest score will be automatically updated to the leader board each time they successfully complete the game. All participants' particulars will undergo verification and any inaccurate entries will be forfeited.
2. As a Team
A team is only eligible for contest if it consists of 4 registered unique participants from the same country and each of the 4 unique participants has successfully submitted score to the team.
To join a team, click on "My Teams & Invites" at top navigation bar, and check pending invites from friends under "Pending Invites" tab. Simply click "Accept" to join a team.
If you do not have any invites from friends, you may like to create a team and send invites to your friends. Simply click on "Create A Team" at top navigation bar and complete the steps successfully to create a team.
Once you have joined a team, proceed with the following:
1. Click on "Play Now" on homepage or navigation bar
2. Successfully complete round 1, 2 and 3 of WOW Twist game
3. Submit your particulars to register and save your score, if you have not registered before.
4. Click "submit score to team" on Achievements Page
5. Submit score to your preferred team
Team score will be updated to the leader board once all 4 players in the team have submitted scores to the team.
Participant has to register and save score in order to submit score to team and be eligible for contest. After registration, participant can play the game as many times as preferred, but is only allowed to submit score to one team only, each time they successfully complete the game. All participants' particulars will undergo verification and any inaccurate entries will be forfeited.

WHO MAY ENTER / ELIGIBILITY
Contest is open to individuals who are 13 years of age or older, in any country in the world. Employees of BlackRapid, and its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such employees, whether or not related are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER
Each Entry consists of an entry form and a single image, and an entry fee. To enter, visit www.facebook.com/BlackRapidStrap Contest Page and complete an entry form with the required information, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, and photo caption; and submit along with your photograph in accordance with the instructions that follow.
Photographs must be in digital format. Only online entries will be eligible. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this Contest. The photograph need not be taken with a digital camera; scans of negatives, transparencies, or photographic prints are acceptable.
Minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable. Hand tinting is acceptable, as is cropping. Fish-eye lenses are acceptable. High dynamic range images (HDR) and stitched panoramas are acceptable only if the combined parts are all made around the same time. Any changes to the original Photograph not itemized here are unacceptable and will render the Photograph ineligible for a prize.
Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted as long as they do not constitute copyright infringement or fraud; provided entrants must be prepared to provide a release form as described below in “Release.” When photographing the work of others, it must be as an object in its environment and not a full-frame close-up of another person’s art.
The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the Contest entrant. JUDGING
Contest consists of three (3) rounds of evaluation. In Round One, each judge in a panel of photographic experts (at least one of whom will be independent of Sponsor) (“Judges”) will select ten (10) entries in each Category from among all eligible entries based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”): Creativity, Originality, Product Placement, Processing and Photographic quality.
The entries selected in Round One will proceed to Round Two. In Round Two, the Judges will collectively select a First Prize Winner based on the Judging Criteria. In Round Three, the Judges will select a Grand Prize Winner from among the First Place Winners based on the Judging Criteria. In the event of a tie, the tied entries will be re-submitted to the Judges for a re-judging between the tied entries alone. In the event that a tie remains after re-judging, the entry with the highest score in the creativity criteria will be declared the winner. Winners will be chosen on or around April 25th, 2011, and notified by email. Decisions of the judges are final and binding.

IPA Street Photographer Contest

CONTEST SUBMISSION

Length and format of your entry:
General
All work must be submitted by individuals, group work is not allowed.
One participant may only submit one work per category. However, one participant may (but doesn’t have to, of course) submit work in both categories, that is: one essay and one video.
All submissions must be made online via the Essay Competition website. Videos are submitted via YouTube.
Submissions can be made in English, French or Spanish.
Essay
Your essay may not be longer than 4000 words (about 10 pages of standard text).
Essays are accepted in the following formats: .doc or .pdf.
You are also required to provide a summary of no more than 250 words. The summary will be used by the jury to make a pre-selection.
Video
Your video may not be longer than 2 minutes.
To submit a video, you must create a YouTube account and upload your work on the YouTube website. Additionally, you are required to submit a form via the Essay Competition website, which will allow us to identify your work.

Eight finalists will participate in the Final Jury in Paris, France in May 2011, and attend the Annual Bank Conference on Development Economics (ABCDE).

Selection Process
Initial Round:
All qualified participants will submit their ideas to the official BIG website www.breakthroughinnovationgrant.com until March 15, 2011. Entries will be screened and narrowed down to 6 participants. Initial entries will judged based on the following criteria:
* Effect on the quality of life and poverty alleviation in Metro Manila
* Promotional reach and community participation (number of votes and quality of comments)
* Feasibility of implementation
The 6 finalists will be announced on April 15, 2011.
Final Round:
The 6 finalists will personally be contacted to participate in the final round. Upon selection, the finalists must submit the following by May 15, 2011:
* a full business plan (format provided);
* a 60-second video clip (optional);
* a 100-word abstract of their business plan;
* three (3) references as proof of participant’s capability to implement the proposal (indicate the names and their contact information); and
* Other forms of proof of capability for project implementation (e.g. – for participants from outside of the Philippines – partnership with a local institution that can closely monitor project implementation; access to networks; CV/resume; technical expertise; access to necessary equipment)
Entries will be posted on www.breakthroughinnovationgrant.com and finalists will promote their entries through various social networks and online media. Finalists will also be assigned specific business consultants who can help them refine their grant entries prior to the final selection of the grant winners. The finalists will submit a final version of their business plan after incorporating the comments, feedback, and suggestions from the community by June 15, 2011.
The final six business ideas will be patented in the Philippines, and the winning business idea(s) will be patented in the United States.
The BIG winner(s) will be announced on July 1, 2011 and chosen to receive a grant of up to USD $20,000.00.

Each participant shall make full and honest disclosure of particulars as requested in the Contest. Any misrepresentation of any facts or particulars may result in disqualification, forfeiture or withdrawal of any prize won at Panasonic‘s sole discretion.
Employees and their family members of Panasonic Group, Panasonic’s advertising/promotion agencies or other firms involved in the design or conducting of the Contest are not eligible. “Panasonic Group” means Panasonic, its affiliate companies and subsidiaries.
Announcement of Results
The winner of the Contest will be posted on the Panasonic Facebook fanpage (www.facebook.com/panasonicasia) and notified via e-mail by 20 December 2010.
Panasonic 3D Explorer Contest
Three (3) grand prize winners and five (5) consolation prize winners:

They will be determined based on the highest number of points earned over the duration of the contest.
Panasonic reserves the right to substitute the aforementioned prizes without prior announcement or notice.
The prizes are not transferable and not exchangeable. Panasonic‘s decision is final in all matters relating to the selection of winners and no enquiries or correspondence will be entertained.
Delivery of Prizes
The winners will be notified on the details of prize delivery after the results are posted. In the event a winner cannot be contacted at the e-mail address indicated on the entry form or fails to respond within five (5) business days, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner, at the discretion of Panasonic.
The winner must furnish either his/her passport or identity card for verification purposes when his/her prize is delivered.

Pointers: Online voting is a factor for determining the winner (1 like = 1 point).
There will be a set of questions to be answered every week. Make sure you answer them all correctly because if you submit a wrong answer, the score you get will automatically be credited to you and cannot be revoked / canceled. Retaking the test will not change your score for the week. To lessen your chances of mistake, check out their twitter account and Facebook fan page for clues.
The highest pointers will be determined by the sum of the online votes received, your correct answers and bonus answers to questions released via twitter and/or Facebook.

Animax Cosplay Photo Contest - HK Tourism Board Holiday Treats
Animax and the Hong Kong Tourism board is currently sponsoring a cosplay photo contest! Join this and win a trip to Hong Kong! Air fare and accommodations are included.
All you have to do is submit a photo of yourself in cosplay attire.
* Simply submit a snazzy photo of yourself cosplaying and you might find yourself on your way to Hong Kong* to attend the Hong Kong Halloween Treats party on Oct 16 with Danny & Alodia.

By sending an entry and therefore participating in the contest, each participant agrees to follow these Official Contest Rules and to be bound by any decisions made by ANIMAX ASIA (the “Channel”) including any interpretations of these Official Contest Rules.

Contest begins on 10 September 2010 (6pm) Singapore time – 24 September 2010 (11.59pm) Singapore time.
Viewers’ can vote for their favorite cosplay photos from 25 September 2010 (8am) – 6 October 2010 (11.59pm). Voters stand a chance to win Fairy Tail merchandises (10 sets including mug, clear folder, playing cards and notebook worth USD50 per set).
3 Winners will be chosen based on 50% voting and 50% Hong Kong Tourism Board & the Channel’s picks based on creativity.
PRIZES:
Three (3) Winners will be chosen on 7 October 2010 to win one air ticket and hotel accommodation (3 days 2 nights stay at hotel chosen by the Channel) to attend the Halloween Treats party on 16 October 2010, Saturday in Hong Kong. Winners will be announced on 8 October 2010.
ELIGIBILITY AND CONDITIONS:
1. Participants must be citizens or legal residents of countries in South East Asia where the Animax channel is available. “South East Asia” means collectively the following countries: Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Macau, Maldives, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
2. Participants / Winners must be 21 years old or older as of September 10, 2010, with a valid passport.
3. Employees, agents, branches and promoters (including their immediate family members) of SPE Networks – Asia Pte. Ltd., and its divisions, affiliates and subsidiaries, and others associated with the contest, are not permitted to participate in the contest.
4. No purchase is necessary.
5. The Channel and its agents, affiliates and/or representatives are not responsible for any loss of entries due to any problems caused by telephone lines or systems or internet service providers, for entries received after the deadline as a consequence of telephone or internet service delays, interruptions, failures or overloads, or for lost, stolen, misdirected, misplaced or postage-due entries. Entries are void if unreadable, inaccurate, incomplete, damaged, mutilated, tampered with, falsified, mechanically reproduced, irregular in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules.
6. Where a contest requires the participant to submit any content, by sending a submission, each participant agrees to the following eligibility requirements:
a) No submission shall directly or indirectly appear to or actually promote or advertise any person, entity, product or service other than the participant, the sponsors of this contest, the Channel or any of the Channel’s affiliates;
b) No participant shall make any trademark use or any other unauthorized use of any third party’s name, logo, trademark or service mark in any submission or infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other legal or moral rights of any third party in any submission;
c) No submission shall contain any unlawful, defamatory, libelous, slanderous, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, violent, cruel, threatening, abusive, harassing, bullying, stalking, hateful, vulgar, racially or ethnically-motivated, invasive of another’s privacy, of poor quality, or otherwise objectionable, unfit for publication, posting, or otherwise dissemination for public viewing element, all of the above as determined by the Channel in its sole discretion;
d) No submission shall make any visual or audio references implicitly or explicitly to alcoholic beverages, tobacco, drug paraphernalia, firearms, or any depiction or representation thereof, or be perceived as giving or threatening to give rise to criminal or civil liability, encouraging conduct that might constitute a criminal offense, or encouraging or providing instructional information about illegal activities; and
e) All rights in and to the submission (excluding references to the sponsors of this contest, if any, the Channel or any of its affiliates) shall be fully owned or otherwise controlled by the participant.
7. By participating in the contest, except where prohibited by applicable mandatory law, each participant hereby grants to the Channel, its affiliates, successors, licensees, assignees and the Channel’s authorized designees, a perpetual, fully-paid, royalty-free, transferable, fully sublicenseable, worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, adapt, translate, reproduce, edit, modify, create derivative works from, combine with other works, post, transmit, perform, display, publish, communicate, communicate to the public, broadcast, reformat, make available, disseminate, distribute, and/or otherwise aurally and/or visually exploit (any one or more of the foregoing referred to as “Use”) the submission (if applicable), and the participant’s name, likeness, image, photograph, voice, performance, rendering, signature, silhouette, sounds and/or biographical data contained therein and/or in the registration information accompanying the participant’s contest entry, in any media, manner, technology or content delivery mechanism now known or hereinafter devised, for any purpose, including, without limitation, in connection with the contest, its administration, judging, advertising and/or publicity, and in connection with the promotion, advertising, publicity and/or other exploitation of the Channel, without the necessity of further consent or additional consideration.
8. By participating in the contest, each participant agrees to sign any further documentation requested by the Channel consistent with these Official Rules. Awarding of the Grand Prize shall be conditioned upon the Grand Prize winner and his/her guest signing an Indemnity and Release of Claims form provided by the Channel, which shall release the Channel and any other applicable contest sponsor of all liability, to the extent permitted by law. Failure to complete and sign any documents requested by the Channel may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
9. Each prize winner will be informed by telephone, email or regular mail. Each selected entrant must confirm acceptance immediately with the Channel. If the Channel does not receive an answer from a selected entrant within two (2) working days after initial contact is made by the Channel, except when such period is extended pursuant to local law or the Channel’s sole discretion, such entrant will be disqualified. If a selected entrant is disqualified for this or any other reason, such as being found ineligible or failing to comply with these Official Rules, then the first alternate will be selected instead, as will each of the subsequent alternates until all selections have been made. The Channel and its agents, affiliates and/or representatives will use their best efforts to contact selected entrants but will not be responsible or liable in any way whatsoever if selected entrants cannot be reached by telephone, email or regular mail within the two (2) day period. Selected entries do not become official until all entries are validated. All decisions of the Channel are final and irrevocable.
10. Prizes cannot be transferred, negotiated, refunded or exchanged, and by no means will a cash equivalent be given. Only a selected entrant and not any other person or agent, may claim a selection. Selected entrants will need to present proof of identification in the event of selection.
11. All other expenses relating to acceptance of the Grand Prize not explicitly stated herein, including but not limited to taxes, meals, beverages, alcoholic beverages and gratuities are responsibility of Grand Prize winner and guest. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Travel must be completed on dates specified by contest sponsor or the Grand Prize will be forfeited. Specifics of Grand Prize travel package are subject to availability and contest sponsor's sole discretion. Complete terms and conditions of Grand Prize trip will be furnished with prize notification. Travel must be made through contest sponsor's agent on a carrier of contest sponsor's choice. Winner is responsible for obtaining all required travel documents.
12. All selections will be made pursuant to these Official Rules. All taxes in connection with selections are the sole responsibility of each selected entrant, unless provided otherwise in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
13. Each participant shall fully indemnify and hold harmless each of the Channel and its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees and agents, including without limitation, Sony Corporation, Sony Corporation of America, Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., CPT Holdings, Inc. and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, agencies and branches, as well as all contest sponsors, if any, and all other associated with the development and execution of this contents (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, losses, demands, causes of action, proceedings, expenses, and/or liabilities resulting or arising from or connected with, or claimed to have arisen, resulted from or be connected with: (i) the participant’s submission, participation, attempt to participate, or inability to participate, in the contest; (ii) submission and/or Use by the Indemnified Parties of any submission (and/or any parts thereof); (iii) the participant’s failure to comply with any one or more of the Official Rules or any applicable laws, rules or regulations; (iv) the unauthorized use by the participant of, as applicable, the name, likeness, voice, work product, brand, trademark, logo of any person or entity; (v) the breach or alleged breach of any warranty, representation (including, without limitation any eligibility-related representation) or covenant made by the participant in connection with the contest; (vi) acceptance and/or use of any prize, if any; (vii) any right or benefit granted by the participant to the Channel in connection with the contest; and/or (viii) the participant’s negligence, willful misconduct, violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations or these Official Rules, or his or her violation of any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other right.
14. Participants release the Channel and its respective divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees and agents, including without limitation, Sony Corporation, Sony Corporation of America, Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., CPT Holdings, Inc. and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, agencies and branches, as well as all contest sponsors and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest, from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this contest and the awarding and use, misuse or possession of any prizes, including liability for personal injury, except where prohibited or limited by law
15. The contest is void where prohibited by law. All relevant national and local laws apply.

Personal notes:
a) Since this is an international photo contest, expect a competitive level of entries.
b) There is online voting which is 50% of the contest criteria. The other 50% will be determined by the judges (HK Tourism Board). Aside from your photo submission, in my opinion, the judges might also consider your answer to the question... "Why you want to go to Hong Kong?"

d) deadline for submission of photos has some conflicting dates - the main page says deadline is on September 15, 2010 but the contest rules say it's on September 24, 2010. I suggest you prepare your entry on or before September 15 to be sure.
