The Swatch My Rabbit Story Contest runs from January 5 to February 20, 2011. The contest is open to all.
The theme for the competition is Chinese New Year "Swatch My Rabbit Story Contest."
Entry forms are available daily in the Philippine STAR during the duration of the promo. All entries must be submitted starting January 5, and must be accompanied with a completed entry form and Contest Guidelines Acceptance form (available at any Swatch Store, Swatch Kiosk or Hole in the Wall shop). Gift Gate Inc. must receive all entries by 8 p.m. on February 20, 2011.
Entries may be brought personally to any Swatch store, kiosk, or Hole in the Wall shop and will be received by the store OIC for proper documentation and storage.
All entries will automatically become the exclusive property of Gift Gate Inc., and may be used, copied, reproduced and / or reprinted by Gift Gate, Inc. into any size or medium for exhibition, advertising, promotion or whatever purpose. Contest participant further allows Gift Gate, Inc. to use his/her name and/or image / picture / likeness without limit in conjunction with his winning entry.
Gift Gate, Inc. reserves and maintains all intellectual property rights over its name and logo and all names, likeness and logos of its represented brands including but not limited to Swatch. Contest participants may only use the above in conjunction with their entry into this contest and for no other purpose.
Final judging will be on February 25, 2011 2 p.m. at Gift Gate Home office, 17 New York St., Cubao, Quezon City.
Participants are eligible to win any of the prizes. However, a participant can only in once, and the higher prize prevails.
Criteria for judging is:
Originality - 25%
Creativity - 50%
Composition - 25%
for a total of 100%.
There will be 5 grand winners; one in each fashion category:
a. 24 Karat Gold Gal (Red Carpet)
b. Date Night (Casual Chic)
c. Fashion Forward (Ove-the-Top)
d. Sweat It Out (Sporty)
e. Summer Fun (Summer Wear)
Each Grand winner will receive 50,000 pesos and the Swatch "My Rabbit Story". There will be 10 honorable mentions who will receive Swatch "My Rabbit Story" watches. All winners will be notified by registered mail.
Winners will also be announced in Philippine STAR on March 5, 2011.
* The withholding tax of 20% for all prizes exceeding 10,000 pesos shall be shouldered by the winner.
Notes:
- contrary to the "My Rabbit Story" title of this contest, this is fashion wearable art contest(clothes / shoes / bags / etc.) and not a story writing contest.
- get your entry forms by cutting out the forms printed at the Philippine STAR on their daily issues.
- when you submit your entry, make sure you submit your entry form and a copy of the contest guidelines acceptance form, which you can get from any Swatch outlet or Hole in the Wall outlet.
