Smart Extraordinary Story Contest

If you have an extraordinary story to share, you might want to try out Smart's Extraordinary Story Contest. Get a chance to win 100,000 pesos cash and have your story featured in a TV ad! Just submit a written story or video showing your unique story how a SMART service or technology made an extraordinary moment in your life possible.



This contest is open to all SMART subscribers nationwide.

Contest Mechanics:

1. Promo is open to all SMART Subscribers.

2. To join, participants must submit a story about how a SMART service, technology, or innovation made an extraordinary moment in their lives possible.

3. Stories may be submitted as:
3.1. A 3-5 minute video.
3.2. A written entry 200 to 500 words long.

4. Entries can be submitted on the SMART website, at select SMART Store outlets and partner radio stations.

5. The best story as determined by a panel of judges wins P100,000 and will be featured as the next SMART TV ad.

6. Participants may enter multiple times but may only win once.

7. A special "People's Choice Award" with a cash prize of P10,000 will be given to the participant who gather's the highest number of "Likes" on the website.

8. There will be a weekly raffle with five winners each of P300 load for participants who submit online from May 8 to June 30, 2011.

9. Deadline for submissions is midnight of June 30, 2011.


Contest Criteria:

1. Relevance to Theme (Does it have anything to do with Smart innovation?) - 40%
2. Creativity (How the story is told) - 20%
3. Originality (How unique is the experience) - 40%
*For each criterion, judges give their rating from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest.

Prizes:

1. P100,000 cash — 1st prize
2. P30,000 cash — 2nd prize
3. P20,000 cash — 3rd prize

* "People's Choice Award" - 10,000 pesos will be given to the participant who gather's the highest number of "Likes" on the website.

Notes:

- you can submit your story in any format at the SMART contest website... www.smart.com.ph/extraordinary
- for those who want to submit a video online, it will be done via Youtube link. After uploading on youtube, your link should be submitted to their contest website.
- video must be from 3 to 5 minutes only.
- written stories must have a minimum of 200 words.

- you can also submit your entries through participating radio stations and SMART stores.
