Everybody is talking about the upcoming Megafight of Boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao and boxing legend Sugar Shane Mosley this coming May 8, 2011 (Philippine Time). 5) he is considered as one of the most influential athletes and one of the most influential personalities in the world.
And even with all these achievements in mind, Manny Pacquiao was able to do more for the sport of boxing. Boxing is known to be a brutal sport, where the main objective is to knockout the opponent with fists trained to give lethal damage causing cuts, bruising, bleeding and sometimes bone fractures and even death.
While Manny has the skill and the strength to overcome his opponents by a significant margin, he always considered their welfare. His care for his opponents showed when he refused to knock down Antonio Margarito in his previous fight, or at times, after a knockout, he tries to help his opponent get up the canvas. In his way, Manny Pacquiao was able to humanize the sport of boxing.
