Nagaraya Nutty Video Contest

There's a cool video contest sponsored by Nagaraya called "It's Fun to be Nutty!" All you have to do is upload a funny video and get to a chance to win the grand prize of P 50,000 pesos! Special prizes also await for those who will participate in the online voting.

This contest is open to all Filipino residents 13 years old and above.


WHO CAN JOIN THE CONTEST?

1. The contest is open to all Filipino residents 13 years old and above.
2. The contest allows participants via two ways:
1. Uploading an original nutty video
2. Vote for your favorite video and get a chance to win in the raffle

HOW DO I JOIN THE CONTEST?

1. Visit the Nagaraya website (www.itsfuntobenutty.com.ph). Create an account and fill in all the required fields.

HOW DO I UPLOAD AN ORIGINAL NUTTY VIDEO?

1. Download the "It's fun to be nutty!" JPEG file from the Nagaraya website.

2. Create a video with the theme "It's fun to be nutty!"

3. Incorporate the "It's fun to be nutty!" JPEG file in your video.

4. Go back to the Nagaraya website. Log-in and upload your video.

5. One uploaded video is considered one entry. Once uploaded, the video cannot be edited nor changed. Participants can submit as many entries as they want provided that they are different videos.

6. Once uploaded, participants may post links to their videos on their sites and social networking profiles to get people to vote.

7. Only administrator-approved videos will be posted on the website for judging and voting. FII reserves the right to determine whether an entry qualifies or not. FII’s decision in this regard is final.

8. Submission/s should revolve around the theme "It's fun to be nutty!"

9. Submission/s must be in one of the required formats: .avi, .mpg, .flv with maximum file size of twenty megabytes (20 MB)

10. The maximum length for submitted video/s is 3 minutes.

11. Submissions should not contain inappropriate content, including but not limited to:
1. Obscene, pornographic or sexually-explicit content or information
2. Information that poses a risk to the health and safety of others
3. Support or opposition to any political or religious group or person
4. Content that is offensive to others, such as that which encourages the commission of an illegal, immoral or threatening activity, promote harassment, racism, hated or discrimination against any group or individual, or provides information which is known to be false, misleading, or harmful
5. Content that is defamatory or libelous in nature, or that which violates the privacy of any group or individual

12. Nagaraya, FII and/or its advertising/promotion partners and suppliers will not be held liable for any copyright infringement the uploading of any entries for this contest may incur.

13. Submissions must not feature any snack brands that are in direct or indirect competition with Nagaraya or any other FII product.

14. Submissions must be original and must not have been submitted for any other contest.

15. Submissions must be uploaded directly to the Nagaraya website. Videos posted to or linked from other sites will not qualify as valid submissions.

16. Once uploaded, all submissions become property of FII and the submissions (and all the talents, props, and their content) may be used for any and all advertising and promotion methods as it sees fit.

UPLOAD AN ORIGINAL NUTTY VIDEO: SELECTION OF WINNERS

1. A total of 2 monthly winners and 1 grand prize winner will be selected.
2. Monthly winners
The submission with the highest votes at the end of each month will be selected from all the video uploads for that month.

3. A total of 2 monthly winners and 1 grand prize winner will be selected.
The grand prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges from FII based on the following criteria:
1. Concept – 30%
2. Execution – 30%
3. Overall Impact – 40%

HOW DO I VOTE FOR A VIDEO FOR A CHANCE TO WIN IN THE RAFFLE?

1. To vote for a video, you must be a registered user in the Nagaraya website (see Section 2).
2. Log in and choose your favorite video from among those uploaded.
3. Click “Vote.”
4. Each vote counts as 1 raffle entry. You may vote for as many videos as you want, but you may only vote for each video once.
5. Once you have voted for a video, you will not be allowed to “unvote.”

VOTE FOR A CHANCE TO WIN IN THE RAFFLE: SELECTION OF WINNERS

1. At the end of the promo period, the prize will be raffled off among all those who voted within the promo period.
2. An electronic system will be created to randomize the drawing of winners from among all qualified contestants.

SPECIAL PRIZES

1. At any time it may deem necessary, FII will award special prizes to random submissions based on criteria it may deem worthy.

PROMO PERIOD

1. The promo period is from July 26- October 1.
2. The voting periods for the 2 monthly winners is as follows:
1. Monthly Winner 1: July 26- August 27
2. Monthly Winner 2: August 28- October 1
3. The voting period for entry into the raffle is from July 26- October 1.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS

1. Winners will be notified via phone call through land line or mobile phone by an FII representative, and upon notification, an e-mail will be sent to confirm date, place, and requirements for the claiming of the prize.
2. If after two (2) days, a winner cannot be contacted through the phones, an e-mail will be sent in place of the call. If after seven (7) days, no acknowledgment e-mail from the winner is received, FII will be allowed to award the prize to the next video that adheres to the judging criteria stated above (see Sections 4 and 6).
3. Winners will be announced via a print ad in a major broadsheet.

CLAIMING OF PRIZES

1. Prizes may be claimed within 30 days after notification has been sent at the registered user’s submitted e-mail address:
2. Prizes must be claimed at PC&V Communications Inc. G/F Legaspi Suites, Salcedo Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City. Winners will be responsible for all the expenses related to their getting to Makati City to claim their prizes.
3. All taxes, if any, related to the prizes will be shouldered by FII.
4. At least two Valid IDs must be presented upon redemption of the prize/s.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. The decision of the judges in consultation with BFAD is final and not subject to dispute.
2. Contestants with more than one entry may only win once.
3. All Food Industries, Inc. employees, those of its promo partners’, Advertising and Media Agencies’ and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity and affinity are not qualified to join the contest.

Personal Note: Try joining as early as possible so that you will have more time to rally your friends for the online vote. The entry with highest number of votes will be declared as the monthly winner.

Since the prize is a considerable amount, there are already good entries submitted this early. View them at the contest website.

Last day of submission of video entry is on October 1, 2010 but my advise is to submit as early as possible.
