HWM's Quest For the Wacky Drive!

If you missed joining the previous Yugatech-WD Dress Up Your PC contest, then don't fret. You might want to try this out instead. Hardware Magazine (HWM) Philippines is currently having a photo contest called Quest For the Wacky Drive! All you have to do is submit a wacky photo of your hard disk (any brand) and add a witty caption, and you might win a 1 Terabyte Caviar Black Disk Drive!


This contest is open to all fans of HWM Philippines.

Running out of precious hard drive space? You might solve that problem in an instant by joining our Quest for the Wacky Drive contest! Up for grabs is a 1TB WD Caviar Black hard disk drive!

Joining is easy. Simply present to us a hard disk drive of yours, regardless of the brand, specifications or status, in the most creative and wackiest manner that you could ever imagine. Dress it up or create something new out of it, do whatever wackiest thing you could think of for your hard disk drive and drive us wacky in turn. Strike a pose with your creation and send us the photo by uploading it on the official Facebook fan page of HWM Philippines. You must also put a witty caption for the photo of at least 50 words.

Do not forget to like the Western Digital Philippines fan page on Facebook prior to sending us your entry.

Hurry up! Never miss getting a chance to win a 1TB WD Caviar Black hard drive by sending us your entry on or before March 1, 2011.

General Mechanics

1. Each participant must have an authentic Facebook account and a fan of HWM Philippines’ and Western Digital Philippines’ fan page.

2. Each participant must upload one (1) photo as his/her contest entry on HWM Philippines’ fan page Wall.

3. Aside from uploading their entry on the fan page’s Wall, each participant must send us an email notification to editor.ph@hwzcorp.com containing the following details:

Subject: Quest for the Wacky Drive

Full name: ______________________________
Address: ______________________________
Contact Number: ______________________________
Link of the photo: ______________________________

4. The participant must be part of the candid photo, showing his/her face, to help us in verifying the authenticity of the entry.

5. The photo must be clear and of good quality. There must be a witty caption of at least 50 words as well.

6. Submission of entries is open from February 1 until March 1, 2011.

7. Criteria For Judging:

Wackiness (35%)
Creativity (30%)
Uniqueness (25%)
Popularity (10%)
