Terms and Conditions

1. This contest is open to all business owners operating and residing in the Philippines. A contest participant must be a fan of the 88DB.com Philippines Facebook fan page.

2. A one-time registration is required.

3. The photo contest starts on 2 September 2010 and ends on 31 October 2010

4. For a photo to qualify as an entry, it must:

a. Be uploaded by the business owner who sells/distributes the product;
b. Showcase either or both the product's appearance/features or the product's usage.

5. One (1) winner of an Apple iPad will be chosen by popular vote.

6. Participants are allowed to submit as many entries as they want, but are only eligible to win once throughout the contest period.

7. All winners will be notified by email and results will be published on 88DB's fan page

8. To claim the prize, all winners must be able to present at least one (1) valid ID. In the event that the winner is unable to produce a valid ID, we reserve the right to disqualify the winner.

9. The results are final and no correspondence will be entertained.

10. By taking part in this contest, you understand and accept without condition that the organizers will not use your personal information contained herein for any purposes other than deemed necessary for the administration of this contest whilst according your privacy or confidentiality with the highest priority.

11. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify anyone who, in their opinion, has tampered with or disrupted the entry process or operation of this contest or violated the rules.

12. The organizers reserve the right to change any terms of the contest without prior notice and to substitute any prize with one of a similar value.

13. The organizers shall not be liable for any loss of chance arising from any defect, malfunction or failure of any telephone network/lines, computer systems, servers, computer equipment, software used in connection with the contest.

14. The organizers shall not be held liable in the event that the contest is terminated or scaled down or otherwise modified for any reason or cause beyond the control of the organizers.

Personal note: This photo contest should be called an online voting contest. Even if your photo looks unappealing (aka looks like trash), as long as you produce the votes, you win this contest.

I have yet to verify if a business permit is required because this is proof that the contestant is a business owner. Nothing is stated in the rules that this is required.
