Nestle Pops Dodgeball Dojo

Is your dodgeball kung-fu good enough? Then why not test your skills in the Nestle Pops Dodgeball Dojo! Cash prizes and Nestle Pops are up for grabs - as much as 12,000 pesos in cash to be awarded to the winning team per month, and an individual prize of 5,000 pesos per month.

This contest is open to all Facebook users who registered in the Nestle Pops Dodgeball Dojo Application.

Contest Mechanics

1. Log in or create an account in Facebook.
2. Go to the Nestle Pops Dodgeball Dojo Application.
3. Create your own Dodgeball Star.
4. Create your Dodgeball Team which consists of 6 players Minimum of 3 to qualify for team prizes. Teams with 2 or below members can only qualify for MVP prizes
5. Invite more friends to become a supporter of your team.
6. Each supporter will merit corresponding points in favour of the team.
7. All Dodgeball Star Avatar must have a clear and recognizable photo of the contestant.
8. Start playing all the games and keep on playing them to earn more points.
9. A Facebook user is allowed only 1 Dodgeball Star Account.
10. A Dodgeball Star Account can only be part of 1 Team.

11. There will be 2 levels of prizes per month:
1. Team Prize - 12,000 PHP per month to be given to the team with the highest aggregated points at the end of every month. Cut of date for eligibility are as follows:
1. July 31
2. August 31
3. September 20
1. Individual Prize - 5,000 PHP per month to be given to the individual with the highest aggregated points at the end of every month. Cut of date for eligibility are as follows:
1. July 31
2. August 31
3. September 20
12. Consolation Prizes (Nestle Ice Cream GC; 1 Tub) will be given away for 1st and 2nd runner up MVP's.
13. Individuals and Teams can only win once.
14. The points of all contestants (new & old) will reset on these dates:
1. July 1, 2010
2. August 1, 2010
3. September 1,2010
15. Announcement of winners will be on 1st week of August, September, & October and will be posted in the Facebook Nestle Pops Fan Page.
16. Notification of winners will either be through Facebook Messaging, Email, Phone Call, or SMS.

Personal Note: The application has 3 mini-games in it. There is a word puzzle game, a multiple choice game and a simple dodgeball game. All three games are related to dodgeball, it's rules and some important events in the Philippines. If you don't know where to find the answers to the first two games, just read the facts displayed during the 'loading game' splash screen.

The game has a style of humor, borrowing some cliches from the movie comedy Dodgeball.

As for my personal review of the game, all-in-all it's very simple and repetitive. But if you want to win the individual or monthly prize, you have to deal with the redundant gameplay. Also, I don't really appreciate the humor part because this game should promote dodgeball. If you interpret the humor negatively, you'd think dodgeball is for wimps...

Still, I encourage all to try out the game and win the prize.
