Sony Ericsson's Wonder Kidz contest

If you have a "bibbo" kid with star quality, you might want him or her to be the next superstar in the Sony Ericsson's Wonder Kidz contest. In order to join, you will have to submit a 30 to 60 second video of your child performing a talent, like dancing, singing, recitals, etc. If your kid wins this, he or she will be able to take home a new Sony Ericsson Vivaz with HD video, and PhP 50,000 in cash!



This contest is open to all child talents residing in the Philippines aged 1 to 7 years old.

Mechanics:

1. To join, child talents must be citizens and residents of the Philippines aged 1 to 7 years old.

2. Participants must click on the like button on the Sony Ericsson Philippines Facebook fanpage to become a fan and agree to the conditions stated therein, Contest period is from July 1 to August 31, 2010.

3. Parents or guardians must capture and upload a 30 second to a minute video of their child's talent/s. Entries must come with a brief description of the video and participant's full name, email address and contact number/s in the description box. Incomplete information will be grounds for disqualification.

4. Videos can be uploadded to the Sony Ericsson Philippines Facebook page from July 1 - August 31, 2010. Contest entries must be titld Vivaz Wonderkidz (title of the video)

5. The uploaded videos must be under 1024 MB and in avi, m4v, mov, mp4, mpg or 3gp file format only.

6. Entries may be past videos of the child provided that the child's current age does not exceed 7 years by August 31, 2010. Talent act may be expressed in music,, dance, drama, poetry, art, declamation, sport or any form of creative expression not harmful to the child in any way.

7. Contestants may submit more than one video entry to the contest but may only win once. Support talents may be used in a video entry but must feature a lead talent. Contestants are encouraged to promote their video entries to become the "most liked".

8. Submission of entries will be up to 11:59pm on August 31, 2010 only; voting period will end at 11:59 pm of September 3, 2010.

9. The ten "most liked" videos will qualify for the final judging. Sony Ericsson will assemble a panel of five judges at the Sony Ericsson head office on September 15, 2010 to determine the top three winners.

10. The final judging will be based on

entertainment (25%),
creativity (25%),
uniqueness of video (25%)
and talent (25%)

11. First prize winner as determined by the panel of judges will receive P 50,000 plus one Sony Ericsson Vivaz mobile phone. Second place wins P 30,000 plus one Sony Ericsson Vivaz while third place winner gets P 20,000 and one Sony Ericsson Vivaz. Remaining 7 finalists will each win P 5,000.

12. Sony Ericsson reserves the right to disqualify video entries and remove any comment if deemed offensive, harmful, disrespectful or demeaning to children, to other entris and to the Sony Ericsson brand in any way. The company shall have the final decision in the case of any questionable contest entries.

13. Entries must have the consent of the parent or legal guardian of the child. Winning videos will be disqualified if contestant fails to submit required document showing the consetn of a parent or legal guardian.

14. The winners will be notified through voice call and registered mail. Each of the winners are required to claim his/her prize within 60 days from receipt of notification. Failure to do so may result to forfeiture of the prize upon prior approval of DTI.

15. Winner must present registered mail notification, parental/guardian consent if needed, child's birth certificate and participant's IDs at BrandWorX, Inc. Office at Penthouse, Eurovilla 2, VA Rufino Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City.

16. Winners will be announced on September 22, 2010 thru the Sony Ericsson Philippines Facebook page.

17. Sony Ericsson employees, authorized distributors and dealers, their advertizing and promotions agencies, and their immediate families, up to the first degree of consanguinity, are prohibited from joining the competition.

Personal Note: Online voting on Facebook is key to winning this contest, so try to ask all your friends, and friends of friends to vote for your kid by "liking" your entry. Join earlier and you may have a better advantage to inform people you know that your child entered this contest.
