This a cool video contest for the youth - the PMAP High Flyers video making contest. Winner of this contest will get a barkada trip to Boracay and other exciting prizes!
This contest is open to students of all public and private schools in the Philippines from 16 to 21 years old. A group / team can be composed of a maximum of five members.
MECHANICS:
1. Open to all students of public and private schools ( high schools/colleges or universities) ages 16-21 years of age. A group can be composed of a maximum of five members.
*Members of the team must be currently enrolled in school. The student/team should not be working in any professional capacity in video making, film or the creative arts.
2. Duration of the video must be between 5- 10 minutes long. Participants can view the first episode of the booksmart is not enough video (for a clearer understanding of the message or theme) which is posted in youtube and in their official Facebook fan page. Just search “PMAP High Flyers” and like the page to access it.
3. Upload your video via you tube and download our official registration form from our Facebook fan page. There is no limit on the number of entries
4. E-mail the link of the video posted on youtube and the accomplished registration form to high_flyers2010@yahoo.com.
5. A PMAP screening and review committee will view all entries to ensure that the videos conform to standards of decency and is aligned with the values that PMAP embodies.
6. Wait for two (2) email notifications from PMAP: (1) a confirmation that your entry was received and (2) a notice that your entry has been posted in our official FB fan page. Special citations to the students/ group and school will be provided by PMAP to the entries posted. Only entries posted on the PMAP High Flyers Facebook account shall be considered as official entries.
7. A video of the month (based on popularity) will be determined by the number of “Likes” it will get on our the PMAP High Flyers FB fan page. Each video of the month winner for December 2010, January 2011 and February 2011 will get special prizes and will automatically qualify them as one of the 10 finalists to the video making contest.
8. Cut-off period for submission of Video of the month entries shall be at 11:59 pm on the last day of the contest period month: e.g. December 31st 2010, January 31st 2011 and February 28th, 2011. Winner/s will be announced within the first week of the following month.
9. All Video of the Month winners and the list of the top ten winning finalists will be posted in the PMAP High Flyers FB fanpage. They will also be notified by an official member of PMAP via email.

by a panel of judges composed of PMAP, Sea Air , and professionals in the creative arts industry. Other special prizes will be given away to selected categories by our sponsors.
11. Contest period is from November 25, 2010 to February 28, 2011. Deadline for submission of entries is until February 28, 2011.
12. Winners and the winning entries will also be announced and presented during the regular General Membership Meeting of PMAP for March 2011.
13. The decision of the board of judges is final.
*PMAP reserves the right to conduct a verification process of the entries and the information provided on the registration form.
PRIZES:
The Grand Winner will receive the following prizes:
(1) A Barkada Trip for five to Boracay with accommodation via Sea Air
(2) A Special Foundation in Culinary Arts Class from Global City Innovative College
(3) A roundtrip airfare to Singapore to be given to the school of the winning group
(4) And other exciting prizes!!!
*All Top Ten finalists will receive prizes from our sponsors.
Reminders:
- there will be cut-off-dates for judging of entries at 11:59 pm of the last day of the month.
- Video of the month will be determined by most likes. The video with the most likes for each month (December 2010, January 2011 and February 2011) automatically qualify as one of the 10 finalists and will receive special prizes. The remaining will be determined by the judges.
