Oishi Ridges Tambayang Magiliw Video Contest

If you want to have a cool summer getaway then why not join the Oishi Ridges Tambayang Magiliw Video Contest and get a chance to win a free trip to Boracay with your barkada! Other cool prizes also await to those who join!

All you have to do is create a music video interpreting Tambayang Magiliw a.k.a. your favorite gathering place with your barkada.

This contest is open to all groups of friends from four to eight members residing in the Philippines.

Oishi Ridges come in a variety of flavors, which include: Onion and Garlic, Cheese, Cheese and Garlic, Barbeque, and Wasabi.

Contest Mechanics and Guidelines:

How to join:

1. A group of friends/barkada with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 members and are all Philippine residents
2. Download the 1 minute Tambayang Magiliw song and use this as music of your video entry. Click here to download the song for your music video.
3. Take a photo of your barkada
1. Photo should show your barkada with Oishi Ridges Garlic & Onion or Cheese snack packs
2. Photo should be in JPEG format, maximum file size is 30MB
4. Shoot the video
1. Video should be taken in your favorite real-life tambayan – house of a friend, a waiting shed, a sari-sari store, etc. Branded tambayans such as popular cafes, malls or school grounds are NOT allowed. Should your barkada have a tambayan in your school, make sure you get permission from your school administraton to shoot within their premises
2. Video should CLEARLY show your barkada consuming any two of variants of Oishi Ridges variants – Garlic & Onion or Cheese
3. Format: common video formats (.avi, .mpg, .flv, .3gp, .mov, .mp4, or any video format)
4. Length: not more than the contest version of the Tambayang Magiliw song
5. File Size : not more than 30MB
5. Come up with a PLEDGE TO YOUR TAMBAYAN to tell us how endearing your tambayan is to your barkada
1. Pledge Length : 250 Characters and below
6. Once you have your entries prepared, REGISTER your barkada
7. All entries will be subject to approval
8. Oishi Ridges reserves the right to reject images that are obscene, inappropriate and does not conform to the rules and regulations of the contest mechanics
9. Oishi Ridges’ Panel decision is final
10. Verification and Posting will be within 24-72 hours upon submission of entries
11. To send additional entries, email the web admin at oishiridges@tambayangmagiliw.com and attach your entry videos. Once approved, the web admin will post your additional videos on your profile page. Note, however, that votes will be per barkada and not per video

Criteria for Judging:

There are two categories for winning the video contest - the weekly winners and the grand winners

A. Weekly winners' criteria
Creativity – 35%
Originality – 30%
Relevance of your "Panata" – 20%
featuring Oishi Ridges product – 15%

B. Grand winners' criteria
Score from the judges - 60%
Online votes - 40%

* the judges will grade your video as follows:
Creativity – 35%
Originality – 30%
Relevance of your "Panata" – 20%
featuring Oishi Ridges product – 15%

Additional reminders:
- your entry will consist of a photo, a video and a pledge. (see above mechanics)
- to lower the file size of your video entry to the accepted 30MB, you might want to lower the resolution of your video or lower the frame rate. You may also convert your video to certain video formats that have smaller file sizes (like .FLV or .3gp).
- make sure you ask your friends to vote your video to have a better chance of winning the grand prize.
- last day to submit your entry is on May 21, 2011.
