Runnr Discovering Philippines By Foot Photo Contest

Join Runnr Store's Discovering Philippines By Foot Photo Contest and get a chance to win 20,000 pesos cash as grand prize. Prizes also await the 2nd and 3rd place winners. To join, simply submit a photo that depicts the theme “Discovering Philippines by Foot”, which shows running in the best places in the Philippines.

This contest is open to individuals 18 years old and above.

1. ELIGIBILITY:

a. The contest is open to individuals, 18 years old and above. Amateur and professional photographers are open to join.

b. By entering, each participant acknowledges compliance with official rules. Each participant must meet all eligibility requirements and guidelines for the “Discovering Philippines by Foot” mural photo contest.

2. HOW TO ENTER:

a. The photo must follow the theme: “Discovering Philippines by Foot”. Photo must capture running in the best places through photography

b. Photo must have the RUNNR watermark clearly visible in photo (ideally at the lower right side). RUNNR watermark may be downloaded here.

c. Entries must be emailed (via sendspace) to discoveringphilippinesbyfoot@runnr.com.ph or mailed to RUNNR located at Building B3, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

d. Contest period is from 19 March 2011 to 10 April 2011 only.

e. Deadline for submission of entries is on 10 April 2011 12:00pm midnight. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time without notice. Changes will be posted on the RUNNR Facebook.

f. RUNNR does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

3. PHOTO ENTRIES:

a. A maximum of three (3) entries may be entered per person.

b. All entries must be exclusive to this contest. Photos taken for the contest cannot be submitted as entries to other contests.

c. Only photos taken with a digital camera will be accepted. Digital photos must meet the following requirements:

· Digital entries must be submitted in 2 files:

a. High resolution TIFF file at 300 dpi

b. JPEG format (for viewing purposes)

· Image must be of high resolution.

· Signature on photos is not allowed.

d. Entries must include a text file with the following details

Photographer’s info:

* Name
* Birthday
* Phone
* Mobile
* E-mail

Photos’ Info:

* Runner’s name
* Location
* Time
* Photo caption (limit to 2-3 lines)

e. By joining, each entrant represents and warrants that the photo is:

* His/her original work
* Does not violate the copyright or any other personal or property right of any third party.

f. Digital enhancements are allowed provided only minor enhancements are made. Minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable. Hand tinting is acceptable, as is cropping. Fish-eye lenses are acceptable. High dynamic range images (HDR) and stitched panoramas are acceptable only if the combined parts are all made around the same time

4. SELECTION OF WINNER/ JUDGING:

All eligible entries will be reviewed and judged by RUNNR panel for the prizes according to the following criteria:

a. CREATIVITY- 40%
b. PHOTOGRAPHIC QUALITY – 30%
c. RELEVANCE TO THE THEME – 30%

Prizes:
1st place - 20,000 pesos cash
2nd place - 10,000 pesos
3rd place - 5,000 pesos

Notes:
- don't forget to place the Runnr watermark on the bottom right of your entry.
- you can submit your photo through e-mail or by snail mail. E-mail your entry to discoveringphilippinesbyfoot@runnr.com.ph. Check out the other details above and know what else to send aside from your entry (like your name, etc.)
- The contest only has a short one month period. Deadline is on April 10, 2011.
