Dulcofiber Megapixel Moments Photo Contest

After launching the Alagang SuperMOM Photo Contest, Boehringer Ingelheim brings to you Dulcofiber Megapixel Moments Photo Contest which gives you a chance to win as much as 50,000 pesos in cash and other amazing prizes!


This contest is open to females 18 years old and above and a resident of the Philippines.

Mechanics:

Who can join?

* Contest is open to all females 18 years old and above and a resident of the Philippines.
* Employees of Boehringer Ingelheim and its agencies, and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to join

Entry Submission

For submissions to be valid, you have to upload your entries within the period of October 11, 2010, 12:01AM to November 21, 2010, 11:59PM

How to join

* Log-on to your Facebook account
* Visit the making smart choices fan page on facebook and become a fan by clicking the "i like" button (http://www.facebook.com/MakingSmartChoices)
* click on the Megapixel Smart Moments Tab.
* access the contest application.

How to upload an entry

* Click on the upload your entry button
* Fill in the required fields in the registration page and click next when done
* Choose from where you want to retrieve your photo
o From computer: browse photos from your desktop / hard drive
o From album: browse photos from your facebook photo albums
* Enter a title for your entry along with a short description / caption about your entry (mechanics tbc)
* Click confirm to finish uploading your entry

Entries should not contain any of the following:

* Obscene, pornographic, or sexually-explicit content or information
* Content that is considered offensive to the users, such as those which encourage the commission of an illegal, immoral or threatening activity, promote harassment, racism, hatred or discrimination against any group or individual, or provide information which you know are false, misleading, or harmful to any group or individual
* Content which show strong support or opposition to any political or religious group or person.
* Content which are defamatory or libelous in character or those which violate the privacy of any group or individual
* Content which infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, publication right, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right, or those which promote the infringement of any party's intellectual property rights

How to Vote

1. Click on the Gallery button
2. Click on a thumbnail to view an entry
3. To vote for an entry, click on the Vote button at the bottom of the photo
1. A user can only vote for an entry once per day.
4. A confirmation message will appear to confirm your vote.

Finals

* Boehringer Ingelheim Philippines and it's agencies will select 3 winners based on the following criteria:

o Votes – 60%
o Creativity – 30%
o Photo description / caption – 10%

* Winning entries will be posted in the promo gallery on November 30, 2010
* Only votes secured from October 11, 2010 12:01AM to November 21, 2010 11:59PM will be counted.
Winners

* Voting and judging will determine the following winners:
o 1st Place
o 2nd Place
o 3rd Place

Lucky Voters

* An electronic raffle draw will generate lucky voters and will be announced on November 30, 2010

Prizes*

* 1st place : PHP50,000 * 2nd Place: PHP20,000 * 3rd Place: PHP10,000

* Lucky Voters will each receive PHP300 worth of Jollibee Gift Certificates


* Tax-free

Announcement of winners

* Winners will be notified via email, mobile, and SMS
* Winners will be asked to submit the following:
o Proof of purchase (2 sachets of Dulcofiber)
o Scanned or faxed copy of valid IDs (please see list below)
* In the event that a winner fails to provide Boehringer Ingelheim with the required documents / proof or purchase, Boehringer Ingelheim reserves the right to award the prize to the next qualified contestant / winner.
* Winning entries and weekly lucky voters will be published on the contest gallery on November 30, 2010.

Pointers / Personal note:
- deadline of submission is on November 21, 2010, 11:59PM. Submit earlier because cut-off of voting is also on the last day.
- online voting is 60% of the criteria. I think there is a chance that deserving winners based on quality and creativity of entries will not win because more weight is given to voting. To get better chances, ask your friends and/or use unorthodox techniques like vote exchange to get more votes.
