Muzikademy - Tuning up the Musical Talent of the Youth


Have you ever dreamed of having a successful musical career someday? For those who want to walk the path to musical stardom, and feel you are underprivileged (poor or walang pera) you can improve your musical skills by applying in a music camp.

Muzikademy, is devoted to underprivileged out-of-school youth and college students by teaching them how to become total performers through their 2-day training camp. Joining this will allow you to win as much as PHP 100,000.00 in cash prizes!

Becoming successful in the field of music will be difficult if you do not know how to make your songs marketable to the public. Muzikademy aims to teach its students how to become marketable both locally and globally and also aims to enhance their musical ability.

This training camp will be held on November 26 and 27, 2010 at FONTANA Hot Spring and Leisure Parks, Freeport zone, Pampanga.


How can you join the training camp? (Paano sumali?)

1. Eligibilty: You should be 16 to 28 years old, male or female. Participants should be unsigned out-of-school youth or college students. They can participate as solo, duet, trio or a band up to 5 members. (16-28 taon gulang na out-of-school youth o estudyante sa kolehiyo ang pwede sumali sa Muzikademy training camp.)

2 . Requirements:
a. Download application form
b. Fill-up application form
c. Attach photo
d. Attach 1 original song and 1 cover song in an mp3 format
e. Attach the necessary documents:
- Birth Certificate
- Bgy. Clearance
- Good moral Character

3. Send a demo recording of your songs (1 original and 1 cover song) to this e-mail address: muzikademy@yahoo.com and/or at jhmusicademy@yahoo.com

Entries may be sent via snail mail to the address below:

Lot 3 block 29 Olympus Road, 2nd Floor Summa-Hana Arts and Language Foundation, North Olympus Subdivision., Zabarte Road, Novaliches, Quezon City.

* Participants must be able to perform their music on-stage, as they will perform at the culminating event along with local music artists as special guests.



The Muzikademy 2-day music camp is sponsored by renowned model, artist and wushu athlete Janice Hung and the FONTANA Hot Spring and Leisure Parks in cooperation with the SUMMA-HANA Arts and Language Foundation Inc. and JHAS Foundation, Inc.

UPDATE: Joining the Muzikademy Music Camp will allow you to win as much as PHP 100,000.00 in cash prizes!

The overall winner will be based on the following criteria:

Song Writing 25%
Originality 20%
Voice Quality 20%
Performance 15%
Musicality 15%
Audience Impact 5%

TOTAL 100%
